Ready in just 15 minutes, this recipe delivers perfectly cooked steak bites with a deliciously aromatic butter coating, ideal for a quick and impressive meal.

Ingredients

Steak Bites

  • 2 lbs ribeye steaks (Chuck eye steaks or a well-marbled New York strip steak works well too)
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp Jack Daniel's Steak Seasoning

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, minced
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak Bites: Remove the steaks from the package and pat them dry with paper towels to ensure even searing. Using a sharp knife, cut the steaks into uniform 1-inch pieces, discarding any excess fat.
  2. Season the Steak: Generously season the steak pieces with kosher salt. Toss them with the avocado oil, then sprinkle the Jack Daniel's Steak Seasoning evenly over the meat. Toss again to make sure every piece is well-coated with seasoning.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it's hot and ready for cooking the steak bites evenly.
  4. Air Fry the Steak Bites: Place the seasoned steak pieces in an even layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking on all sides. Check for your desired doneness, then remove and set aside.
  5. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Let it bubble and develop a slightly nutty aroma without burning. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds more to release the garlic’s flavor.
  6. Add Remaining Butter and Rosemary: Reduce heat to low and stir in the remaining 5 tablespoons of butter along with the minced fresh rosemary. Stir gently until all the butter has melted and the sauce is fragrant.
  7. Combine and Serve: Pour the garlic butter sauce over the cooked steak bites and toss well to coat every piece. Finish with a fresh sprinkle of ground black pepper and serve immediately for the juiciest, most flavorful bites.

Notes

  • Use ribeye or chuck eye steaks for tender, juicy steak bites.
  • Make sure to pat steaks dry to get a nice sear and browning in the air fryer.
  • Adjust cooking time in the air fryer if your steak pieces are larger or if you prefer different doneness.
  • Add extra fresh herbs like thyme or parsley for variation.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp salad for a complete meal.
