Delicious and easy Air Fryer Teriyaki Salmon Bites that are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. These flavorful salmon cubes are marinated in a sweet and spicy teriyaki glaze, then air-fried to perfection in just minutes—ideal for a quick healthy snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb skinless salmon filet, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • ½ tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F to ensure it reaches the perfect temperature for cooking the salmon cubes evenly and quickly.
  2. Prepare Salmon: Cut the skinless salmon filet into 2-inch bite-sized cubes, making sure they are uniform for even cooking.
  3. Marinate: In a large mixing bowl, combine the salmon cubes with olive oil, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Gently toss the ingredients together until the salmon pieces are evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Air Fry Salmon: Arrange the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Ensure the pieces do not touch or overlap to allow air circulation for crispness. Cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through to achieve an even golden exterior.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the teriyaki salmon bites to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for added flavor and presentation. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure each piece gets crispy.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
  • Honey adds a touch of sweetness but can be omitted for a less sweet dish.
  • Serve with steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
