Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Soup Mixture

  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup (10 oz each)
  • ½ cup Milk

Stuffing and Broth

  • 1 box Stove Top Chicken Stuffing Mix (6 oz)
  • 1 ½ cups Chicken Broth

Seasoning

  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • Non-stick cooking spray, for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan thoroughly with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Chicken: Cut the boneless skinless chicken breasts into approximately 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Spread the cut chicken evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  3. Season Chicken: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the chicken pieces to enhance the flavor.
  4. Mix Soup and Milk: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the two cans of cream of chicken soup and half a cup of milk until the mixture is smooth. Spread this creamy mixture evenly over the chicken pieces in the pan.
  5. Add Stuffing and Broth: Sprinkle the entire box of Stove Top Chicken Stuffing Mix evenly over the soup-covered chicken. Then pour 1½ cups of chicken broth evenly over the stuffing, attempting to cover as much of the stuffing as possible to keep it moist during baking.
  6. Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes to cook the chicken thoroughly and allow flavors to meld.
  7. Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking the casserole uncovered for an additional 15 minutes to crisp up the stuffing topping.
  8. Rest and Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the dish to set and cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Chicken Stuffing Bake!

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of chicken soup with cream of mushroom soup for a different flavor.
  • For a lower sodium version, use reduced-sodium chicken broth and stuffing mix.
  • Add vegetables such as chopped celery or onions to the chicken layer for extra nutrition and flavor.
  • Make sure the chicken is cut uniformly to ensure even cooking.
  • Letting the dish rest after baking helps the stuffing absorb moisture and makes serving easier.
