Easy to prepare and freeze, it's an excellent make-ahead dessert that satisfies sweet cravings with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

Yogurt Base

  • 32 ounce container of plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup sliced strawberries (3-4 berries)
  • ⅓ cup raspberries
  • ⅓ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup pecans (roughly chopped)

Instructions

  1. Mix Yogurt Base: In a medium bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  2. Spread Yogurt: Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and evenly spread the yogurt mixture across the surface to form an even layer.
  3. Melt Chocolate Chips: In a separate medium bowl, microwave the dark chocolate chips in 20-second intervals, stirring each time until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Swirl Chocolate: Drop small mounds of melted chocolate on top of the yogurt layer. Using a toothpick, skewer, or butter knife, swirl the chocolate across the yogurt by drawing up and down lines to create a marbled effect.
  5. Add Toppings and Freeze: Sprinkle sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and roughly chopped pecans over the swirled yogurt. Place the sheet pan in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 3 hours, or until solid.
  6. Serve: Once frozen, remove the bark from the sheet pan and cut or break it into pieces. Serve immediately for a cool and refreshing treat.
  7. Store: Keep any leftover yogurt bark in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag stored in the freezer to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • For best results, use full-fat Greek yogurt for creaminess and flavor.
  • You can substitute honey with maple syrup or agave nectar for a different sweetness profile.
  • Try adding other nuts or seeds based on preference, such as almonds or pumpkin seeds.
  • Make sure the yogurt layer is spread evenly to allow uniform freezing and easier breaking into pieces.
  • Allow the bark to freeze completely before attempting to break apart to avoid crumbling.
  • Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
