This festive Holiday Tree Cake Dip is a deliciously creamy and sweet dip perfect for the holiday season. Made with Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes, cream cheese, milk, vanilla extract, and Cool Whip, this easy-to-make dessert dip is perfect for serving with crackers or pretzels at any holiday gathering.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 5 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (3 oz size) or 8 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (8.52 oz boxes)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, brick, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
  • Christmas tree sprinkles (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese to a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy to create a perfect base for the dip.
  2. Add Christmas Tree Cakes: Tear or chop five 3 oz Christmas Tree Cakes or eight from the larger 8.52 oz boxes into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl with the cream cheese.
  3. Incorporate Milk and Vanilla: Pour 1/4 cup milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract into the bowl with the cakes and cream cheese. Beat the mixture well until combined and smooth.
  4. Add Whipped Topping: Gently fold in 8 oz of thawed Cool Whip whipped topping into the mixture. It’s fine if the mixture isn’t completely smooth; the whipped topping adds lightness.
  5. Chill: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Chilling helps the flavors meld and the texture firm up.
  6. Garnish and Serve: When ready, garnish the dip with a Christmas tree cake on top and sprinkle with festive Christmas tree sprinkles. Serve alongside graham crackers, Nilla wafers, or pretzels for dipping.

Notes

  • Use either the 3 oz or 8.52 oz size Christmas Tree Cakes, adjusting the quantity accordingly.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easy mixing and a smooth texture.
  • Chilling the dip for at least an hour enhances flavor and thickness but can be served immediately if needed.
  • You can substitute Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream if preferred.
  • For added holiday flair, garnish with extra Christmas-themed sprinkles or edible glitter.
