This Honey Garlic Sausage and Veggies Sheet Pan Dinner is a simple, flavorful, and nutritious meal that combines savory honey garlic sausages with fresh green beans and cherry tomatoes. Baked together on one pan, this dish requires minimal cleanup and offers a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, ideal for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Sausage and Vegetables

  • 5 honey garlic sausages, sliced thinly
  • 4 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes

Dressing

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos (or gluten-free soy sauce)
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it is ready for baking the dish evenly.
  2. Arrange sausages and vegetables: Spread the sliced honey garlic sausages toward the outside edges of a sheet pan. Add the trimmed green beans and cherry tomatoes to the center of the pan for even cooking.
  3. Prepare the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, minced garlic (or garlic powder), coconut aminos (or gluten-free soy sauce), and honey until well combined. Pour this dressing evenly over the sausages and vegetables on the sheet pan. It might appear to be a small amount, but it sufficiently coats the ingredients.
  4. Bake the dish: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 16 minutes. After 16 minutes, remove the pan and stir the ingredients to ensure even cooking and caramelization.
  5. Finish baking: Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 15-16 minutes, until the sausages are cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Rest before serving: Turn off the oven and allow the sheet pan dinner to sit for 3-5 minutes. This resting period lets the flavors meld and the dish cool slightly for optimal taste and texture before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute any sweet or smoked sausage if honey garlic sausage is unavailable.
  • For a vegan version, use plant-based sausage alternatives and maple syrup instead of honey.
  • If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, increase the garlic cloves to 3 or add extra garlic powder.
  • Use coconut aminos as a gluten-free and soy-free substitute for soy sauce to make this recipe gluten-free.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
