This lobster ravioli bake is a rich, creamy, and cheesy casserole that combines store-bought lobster ravioli and lobster bisque for a quick and indulgent meal. With a golden, bubbly cheese topping and a garnish of fresh parsley, it's an easy yet elegant dish perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

For the Baking Dish

  • Butter or cooking spray, for greasing the dish

Main Ingredients

  • 2 (18 ounce) bags purchased refrigerated lobster ravioli
  • 1 (16 ounce) container purchased lobster bisque
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare oven and dish: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish thoroughly with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook ravioli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobster ravioli and cook them for one minute less than the time recommended on the package instructions, ensuring they remain tender and do not overcook. Drain the ravioli gently to avoid breaking.
  3. Layer bisque: Spoon a few scoops of the lobster bisque into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly to form a creamy base layer.
  4. Arrange ravioli and add bisque: Place the cooked ravioli in a single layer on top of the bisque base. Pour the remaining lobster bisque over the ravioli, carefully nudging the bisque between and around the pieces to coat everything evenly.
  5. Add cheese topping: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dish, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake covered: Loosely cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes to heat through and meld the flavors.
  7. Finish baking uncovered: Remove the foil and continue baking until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden, about 10 to 15 minutes more.
  8. Garnish and serve: Remove from oven, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for color and freshness, and serve warm. Enjoy your decadent lobster ravioli bake!

Notes

  • If fresh parsley is unavailable, dried parsley or chives may be used as an alternative garnish.
  • You can substitute lobster bisque with a creamy tomato bisque for a slightly different flavor profile.
  • For a crispier top, broil the dish for 1-2 minutes at the end of baking, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
