A quick and nutritious smoothie bowl made with organic frozen mixed berries, banana, protein powder, and topped with seeds and coconut for a perfect breakfast or snack in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup organic frozen mixed berries
  • 1 small ripe banana (sliced and frozen)
  • 2-3 Tbsp light coconut or almond milk
  • 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder of choice (optional)

Toppings

  • 1 Tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut (desiccated)
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • Granola (optional)
  • Fresh fruit (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Frozen Fruit: Add the frozen mixed berries and sliced frozen banana to a blender. Blend on low speed until small bits of fruit remain, creating a textured base for your smoothie bowl.
  2. Add Milk and Protein Powder: Pour in 2 to 3 tablespoons of light coconut or almond milk and add the scoop of protein powder if using. Blend again on low speed, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture achieves a soft serve-like consistency.
  3. Assemble the Bowl: Scoop the smoothie mixture into one or two serving bowls, depending on your portion needs. Then, top with shredded unsweetened coconut, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and any other desired toppings such as granola or fresh fruit to add texture and flavor.
  4. Serve or Store: Enjoy the smoothie bowl immediately for the best flavor and texture. If you have leftovers, store them in the freezer for up to 1-2 weeks. Let thaw slightly before eating for the best experience.

Notes

  • You can customize toppings based on preference; nut or seed butters pair well.
  • Protein powder is optional but adds extra nutrition.
  • Use frozen banana and berries to achieve thick, creamy texture without ice.
  • Leftovers freeze well but are best consumed fresh.
  • Adjust the amount of plant-based milk to reach desired consistency.
