This creamy and indulgent Oreo Dip is a quick and easy dessert dip perfect for parties and gatherings. Made with softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, whipped topping, and crushed Oreo cookies, it combines sweet and crunchy textures. Serve it with cookies, graham crackers, fresh fruit, or pretzels for a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Base Ingredients

  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 - 8 ounce tub of whipped topping

Mix-ins

  • 18 Oreo cookies (set aside 1 or 2 for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use an electric hand mixer to beat the ingredients together for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fully incorporated.
  2. Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold the tub of whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture, being careful to maintain the airy texture.
  3. Crush Oreos: Place 16 or 17 Oreo cookies into a plastic bag and crush them into small pieces using a rolling pin or your hands.
  4. Combine Oreos with Dip: Add the crushed Oreo pieces into the whipped topping mixture and gently fold them in evenly.
  5. Top Dip: When ready to serve, crush the remaining 1 or 2 Oreo cookies and sprinkle them on top of the dip for extra texture and decoration.
  6. Serve: Serve this Oreo dip with additional Oreo cookies, graham crackers, fresh strawberries, pretzels, or any other dippers of your choice.

Notes

  • For best results, soften the cream cheese to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps.
  • The dip can be refrigerated for up to 3 days; keep covered to maintain freshness.
  • Feel free to use other chocolate sandwich cookies as a substitute for Oreos.
  • This dip is best served chilled but can be brought to room temperature slightly before serving for easier dipping.
