A deliciously cheesy and savory Pepperoni Pizza Dip that's perfect for parties or a game day snack. Cream cheese and Italian cheese blend with pizza sauce and pepperoni, baked to melty perfection and served warm with crackers, breadsticks, or sliced Italian bread.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Italian style cheese
  • 10-12 slices pepperoni, halved
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For Serving

  • Crackers, sliced Italian bread, or breadsticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the dip.
  2. Mix Cheese: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with half of the shredded Italian style cheese until smooth and well blended.
  3. Assemble Dip Base: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a small casserole dish or a round pie dish.
  4. Add Sauce and Toppings: Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the remaining Italian style cheese on top, then arrange the halved pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese layer. Finally, sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the whole dish.
  5. Bake the Dip: Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dip is heated through.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with crackers, sliced Italian bread, or breadsticks for dipping.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream cheese with a light or low-fat version for a healthier option.
  • Add some sliced olives or chopped green peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • For a spicier dip, use pepperoni with added chili flakes or sprinkle red pepper flakes on top before baking.
  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to make mixing easier and avoid lumps.
  • Serve immediately to enjoy the dip warm and melty.
