Sheet Pan Chicken and Potatoes is a simple, delicious dinner recipe featuring tenderized chicken breasts glazed with a homemade honey sauce and paired with seasoned baby Yukon gold potatoes, all baked together on a single sheet pan for easy preparation and cleanup.

Ingredients

Chicken and Potatoes

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pound baby Yukon gold potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning

Honey Glaze Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare Honey Glaze: In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Prep Chicken and Potatoes: Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness to promote uniform cooking. Cut the baby Yukon gold potatoes into quarters or sixths, ensuring pieces are about the same size for even roasting.
  4. Arrange on Sheet Pan: Place the chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and arrange the cut potatoes around the chicken evenly.
  5. Season and Oil: Drizzle the chicken and potatoes with oil. Sprinkle evenly with garlic powder, pepper, paprika, and Kinder’s Buttery Steakhouse seasoning to enhance flavor.
  6. Glaze Chicken: Pour the prepared honey glaze over the chicken breasts, coating them well.
  7. Bake: Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the potatoes are fork-tender.
